Video doorbells and sensors, in the same app as your cameras

Know who's at the door, from anywhere.

See and talk to whoever is at the door, see packages on the doorstep, and know when a door opens, water leaks or something moves in the garage. All of it in the same simple app as your cameras and Wi-Fi.

What you get

  • Answer the door from anywhere. See and talk to whoever is at the door from your phone, at home or away.
  • Packages in view. A second camera looks straight down at the doorstep, so you see what was delivered and when.
  • Recorded with your cameras. Doorbell video goes to the same recorder, with weeks of continuous recording, stored in your home.
  • Know when a door or window opens. An alert on your phone the moment it happens.
  • Water leaks caught early. A sensor under the sink or by the water heater tells you before the floor is ruined.
  • One simple app. Doorbell, sensors and cameras together, in a clear, easy app. No separate hubs, no extra apps.

The doorbell

We install a wired video doorbell with two cameras: one for the visitor, one for the doorstep. It runs on a single cable that carries both power and the network connection, the same way as our cameras. There is no battery to charge, and it doesn’t drop off the Wi-Fi.

The sensors

Small, battery-powered, and placed where they matter. The batteries last years, and no wiring is needed.

  • Entry sensors for doors, windows and cabinets. A recessed version hides inside the door frame.
  • Motion sensors for the garage, a hallway or the back entrance.
  • Environmental sensors for leaks, temperature and humidity: under sinks, by the water heater, the washing machine or the network closet.
  • Glass-break sensors that recognize the sound of breaking glass near windows and glass doors.
  • An all-in-one sensor that covers motion, doors, the garage door, temperature, humidity, light and leaks in one small device.

We tell you which ones your home actually needs, and where.

How we install

The same standard as everything else: one clean cable to the doorbell, hidden inside the wall, every hole through an exterior wall sealed. Sensors are mounted neatly and sized to disappear.

What’s included

  • A plan for where each device goes
  • Video doorbell, powered over one cable
  • Sensors placed and paired
  • Alerts set up the way you want them
  • The app on your phones, a walkthrough and a support sheet

What we build it on

UniFi Protect: the G4 Doorbell Pro and UniFi Protect sensors, in the same app and on the same recorder as your cameras.

Questions

Can I answer the door from my phone?

Yes. When someone rings, your phone shows who it is and you can talk to them, whether you’re upstairs or out of town.

Does the doorbell record video?

Yes. It records to the same recorder as your cameras, inside your home, with weeks of continuous recording. A second camera covers the doorstep, so packages are on video too.

Why a wired doorbell instead of a battery one?

A battery doorbell needs charging and depends on Wi-Fi. Ours runs on one cable that carries power and the network connection, so it never runs flat and doesn’t drop offline.

What can the sensors detect?

Doors and windows opening, motion, water leaks, temperature, humidity, light and the sound of breaking glass. We recommend only the ones your home needs.

Do the sensors work with Apple Home, Alexa or Google Home?

They work in the UniFi Protect app, together with your cameras and doorbell. They don’t connect directly to Apple Home, Alexa or Google Home.

Do the sensors need wiring?

No. They run on batteries that last years, so they can go on doors, windows and under sinks without any cable.
